Lily Le is a compassionate conservative and entrepreneur who is committed to serving the people of Edmonton – Centre and Alberta.
Born in Vietnam, Lily is the daughter of refugee parents who came to Canada in 1985 searching for a better life. Lily attended high school in Edmonton and eventually went on to receive her college diploma from Grant MacEwan and business degree from University of Lethbridge – Edmonton Campus. Lily’s family story led Lily to dedicate herself to community service and defending human rights abroad
Lily has a passion for service. She is a member of several boards, committees and councils around the city, including Co-Chair of the Vietnam Pavilion for Edmonton Heritage Festival, Director of the Vietnamese Overseas Initiative for Conscience Empowerment and member of the Chief Advisory Council for Edmonton Police Service and President of the Edmonton Viets Association
Through her volunteer work, Lily has helped raise over $200,000 for various initiatives, such as veterans’ support and fire relief in Fort McMurray. However, Lily is most proud of the work she has done to help resettle over 100 Stateless Vietnamese families across Canada.
Lily is also a successful entrepreneur and will support Alberta’s business sector. As a mortgage professional for over 13 years, Lily has worked with Edmonton families helping them achieve their biggest dream of buying a new home.
Lily has also seen the damage caused by the financial burden Albertans face from unnecessary regulation on small and medium businesses, rising taxes and government waste. If elected, Lily will champion Alberta’s business sector, fighting for a strong economy and the well-paying jobs it creates.
As an entrepreneur, community leader and human rights activist, Lily has the experience to defend what matters most – our families.
